Tenova Core installs two walking beam reheat furnaces at Hyundai Steel

Tenova Core has recently completed the successful start-up of two 235 metric t/h walking beam furnaces for reheating slabs for a new plate mill at Hyundai Steel’s Dangjin, South Korean plant. The new fuel-efficient furnaces are equipped with Tenova’s state-of-the-art Flexytechlow NOx burners. Tenova Core also designed and supplied the complete control and automation package that features an advanced thermal model-based Level 2 control system.
